Mental Health Awareness Weekend

From Transformation Church web site:

May 6 – 7, 2017

Current estimates indicate that 1 in 4 people are affected by mental illness. Mental illness has been misunderstood, ignored or not fully supported by the Church, for far too long. There are false conceptions that if you suffer from mental illness you must pray harder or “be a better Christian.” This stigma must be erased so people are empowered to get the help they need. Our Mental Health Awareness Weekend exists so the Church may become a leading resource in the community for mental health awareness and to erase the stigma.

If you are a mental health professional or you or someone you know is struggling with some element of mental illness, we hope you will plan to join us May 6 & 7.  Online registration is available until May 4. When you register online, please be certain to make your food choice(s) and choose the breakout session you would like to attend. Registration will be available onsite the day of the event as well, but you may not have all the same choices at that point.

Join us for a resource fair, breakout sessions, and guest speaker David Mandani.
